As we travel less and save lives by staying at home (covid19), we’re all left with more time to allow our thoughts to manifest into visions. I’m constantly creating content, some are made into posts and some are just like the outfits that we have with the tags on them, tucked away in a storage area waiting. Today, I was sitting and thinking about how it’s times like these that are a gut check for an organization’s production system. Statistics show that many organizations are struggling financially and culturally. Even though it’s defined on paper what an organization is or desires to be, most seem to struggle with actually bringing that vision to life. For struggling organizations, I can relate to the stress it brings to its leaders, so my thoughts for today centered on HOPE; and as a result, I birthed the House of Prosperity & Evolution.

As I commonly post, every organization must define its Vision, Methodology, and Culture for itself. The Vision is the overarching perception of how the organization sees itself without condition. The Methodology is the set of systems, principles, and practices that will be worked within and administered. By working within & administering via a shared methodology, one’s mindset and perception can be developed and translated into behaviors that fuel a Movement that is experienced one day at a time, one improvement at a time. The key is to celebrate successes, learn from losses, and be bothered by repeat occurrences – for what bothers you, troubles you, and what troubles you will evoke change. Always remember, every day is an interaction of People with a Process within Systems. People are the most valuable resource, Processes are a source of income, and Systems define the terms of engagement. Oh yea, and Culture, it’s just merely a byproduct of all the above.

I wish you prosperity and continued evolution.

Sincerely,

The Gemba Coach
